That regional game I had 5-7 turnovers or so. Not a pretty day for me or the team. It was ugly. I had a couple of interceptions I believe and 4 fumbles or something. Just horrible.
Jessee dropped me 15 times in one game. He eventually kept asking me if I was alright and then kept telling me which lineman missed the block. One of the better ball players I have ever played with and also was a nice person.

And Appy was hitting on all cylinders. It seemed like every time I looked up, Jessee was hauling in another pass. I was surprised he didn't go on and play at some D1 college.
As for the polls, potential injuries, team unity, etc. is never considered. Polls are a "best case" scenario for all teams mentioned, as I've seen teams I thought would take it all have a dismal season because of various setbacks. For example, I thought the RC girls basketball team would be the team to beat last year in the CD and region. Injuries and illnesses took their toll throughout the season. Only after everyone got healthy were they able to make a serious run at the state, something that don't always happen when a team has those kind of difficulties.
